Dr. appt

We all went in for Ethan's 4 month doctor appointment and the doctor says that he looks, sounds and acts perfectly. She was very pleased with his progress. Here are some of his stats:
Weight: 15.8 lbs (70%)
Length: 25.4 inches (65%)
Head: 17 inches (75%)

We are amazed at what has happened so far, and can't wait for what's in store!

4 MONTHS!!

Ethan turned 4 months on Sunday. I can't believe it! He is so much more aware of his surroundings now it's amazing. He is always sticking things in his mouth to chew on, and grasping at his toys.
He is now rolling from his back to his stomach, sucking his thumb ALL the time :)
He sleeps every night for at least 10 hours, which is fantastic! He is also enjoing looking at himself in the mirror and standing all the time.

We just got back from visiting Uncle Ryan and Aunt Jamie near Chicago. Ethan did great on the drive. He slept for most of it. Only having to stop once on the way there and once on the way back. It's usually a 5 hour car ride.
Ethan got to go into his first pool and go swimming.....he loved it!

We are having our house warming party on Sat, so he will have lots of visitors to come see him.

We are going in on Wed for his 4 month check up and shots. I will post his "stats" along with some recent pictures.

It's been awhile.....

Not even sure where to begin, it's been so long since I have posted.

Ethan had his 2 month well baby check up and got his shots. He did very well. Here are his stats:
Length- 23 inches (55%)
Weight- 13.3 lbs (83%)
Head- 41 cm (74%)

The next appointment is a 4 month check up with more shots :(

He is interacting so much right now, smiling at anyone who looks at him, he is such a flirt!! He is also a morning person for sure. He is sleeping 8-9 hours every night, and when he wakes in the morning he never cries, just layes in his crib talking to himself.

He has found that he really likes to suck on his fist, once in awhile he gets the thumb in there but he is pretty content with just his hand.

He also made his first trip up to the camper for Memorial weekend. He slept all the time while he was out in the fresh air. He also got to "play" with his cousin Colton.

We also moved into our new house! Very exciting and exhausting, but we had alot of great help moving and cleaning up the old place. Nathan is working on painting the living room, and next he is painting Ethan's room.

Ethan is going to daycare now, the first day I had to drop him off I was a wreck! But it got easier as the week went on, it makes coming home that much more enjoyable.

I have posted some recent pictures of Ethan. Soon I will add some from the house.....

Sleeping through the night!!!!

Ethan has finally been sleeping through the night. He was doing good at 6 hours at a time but now he is doing 7 hours! It feels great to get some quality sleep time.

At 7 weeks he is weighing in at 12 lbs 6 oz! He is growing very fast.

Baptism, Mother's Day and a new house!

We had Ethan baptized on my first Mother's Day! :) It was a very nice service, and we had all the grandparents and great grandparents there. Nathan's brother and my step brother were the two sponsers.

Ethan has started to sleep better at night, sleeping anywhere from 4 to 6 hours at a time. His reflux seems to be getting better with the Zantac. He goes in on the 26th for his 2 month check up and the dreaded shots.

Other big news is that we bought a house! It is on a little over an acre in the Northeast part of Rochester. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with the possiblity of a 4th bedroom with the installation of a window in the basement bedroom. It has a lot of woods, so Ethan will have many exploring opportunities when he is a little older. Another great thing is a huge HEATED garage, which will make winters a littler easier. We close on June 15th.

Here are some baptism pictures and a few others taken recently.

A little update...

I have been enjoying my time off of work to spend with Ethan and not really happy about going back to work in a month!
Ethan is sleeping in his own crib now in the nursery. He is also taking Zantac for the reflux that he has after eating. he hates the taste of it even though it's grape flavored. He has been sleeping pretty well, getting up every 3 hours to eat.

At one month Ethan can now:
Track movement in front of him
Roll over (when I liiked into this, normally babies don't do this until 2-3 months!)

We have had a few nice days to go out on walks, when it's not so nice we go to the mall to walk around and get some exercise.

I also went into work today, my co workers threw me a shower and pot luck. It was fun to see everyone and they got Ethan really great gifts.
